2005 Votes

During the 2005 legislative session, Representative Wallace voted FOR the following bills:

HB 2: Voted to partially fund Governor Blunt’s new education foundation formula.

HB 2: Voted to eliminate the First Steps program, which provided early childhood education for developmentally disabled toddlers.

HB 3: Voted to cut $1.6 million from Missouri public college and university budgets.

SB 1 & 130: Voted to take away the rights of Missouri workers who were injured on the job by narrowly redefining workplace “accidents” and “injuries.”

SB 187: Voted to loosen regulations on animal waste and took control of Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) away from local farmers.

SB 539: Voted to cut 100,000 children, sick, elderly and disabled Missourians from healthcare and decreased healthcare for another 300,000 (Also voted against House Amendment 4 to House Bill 5, which would have reduced legislators’ taxpayer-funded healthcare coverage).

HB 524: Voted to allow lobbyists to hide how much they spend on gifts for legislators.



During the 2005 legislative session, Representative Wallace voted AGAINST the following bills:


HB 972: Voted against Amendment 1, which would have prohibited convicted drunk drivers from operating license fee offices.

2006 Votes

 

During the 2006 legislative session, Representative Wallace voted FOR the following bills:

 


HB 1001: Voted to sell off portions of Missouri’s student loan authority (MOHELA).

HB 1003: Voted to underfund public colleges and universities below the rate of inflation.

HB 1004: Voted to support current license-fee office system, which has given big bucks to the Governor’s political cronies and sparked a federal investigation.

HB 1456: Voted to limit workers’ ability to collect on unemployment benefits and limits protections on corporate whistle-blowers.

HB 1900: Voted to remove voter-mandated contribution caps on political campaigns in Missouri.


 

During the 2006 legislative session, Representative Wallace voted AGAINST the following bills:

HB 1001: Voted against House Amendment 3, which would have increased funding for scholarships for higher-education students.

HB 1944: Voted against House Amendment 10, which would have limited the government’s power to use eminent domain.

HB 353 (2/8/07) Voted to allow fraudulent health care providers to participate in the Medicaid Program.

HB 39, HA 5 (2/12/07) healthcare for more than 100,000 elderly, disabled, and children. (2 separate votes).

HB 686 (3/15/07) Voted to lessen regulations on nursing home administrators.

During the 2007 legislative session, Representative Wallace voted AGAINST the following bills:

SB 577, HA 15 (5/11/07) Voted against restoring health care for more than 100,000 elderly, disabled and children.

HB 444, HA 2 (2/14/07) Voted against allowing certain retirees with private pensions to receive a tax cut on their pension benefits.

HB 353, HA 1 to HA 2: Voted against paying Missouri medical providers the average national rate.

HB 453, HA 6 (2/7/07) Voted against requiring employers who receive state assistance to provide health insurance for their employees.

SB 284, HA 7 (3/14/07) Voted against requiring the cable companies to provide consumers with the name, address and phone number where a complaint can be filed or a dispute can be resolved.

HB 6, HA 2 (3/28/07) Voted against increasing funding for Veterans Homes

HB 12, HA 2 (3/28/07) Voted to strip worker’s rights
